Cost and environmental concerns have never been more important than they are now. Manufacturers struggle to find balance between cost cutting and the unending requirement of process improvement. One particularly bright spot is the iFP Vacuum Parts Washer. The washer is now officially available through Gosiger Import (Dayton, OH). Typical washing systems are normally water-based (aqueous) or solvent-based styles that can, in the worst case, amount to little more than open vats of caustic and hazardous chemicals. These systems are often less expensive on the front end but very expensive on the output side in terms of poor performance, man-hour intense operation, worker safety and outright environmental disposal concerns. The iFP washing system operates on a recycling vacuum principle. The machine contains, and infinitely reclaims, the cleaning agents used to obtain the dramatically superior results users in Europe have been experiencing for nearly two decades. In addition to excellent results, manpower and supply costs are minimized, operators are not exposed to dangerous materials and disposal costs can be virtually eliminated in many cases. Interested parties are encouraged to try a test wash to see first-hand the quality and consistency of results using their own parts.
